Instructions
The single hole wing points towards the toe; hook it under the bottom lace.
Unlace one of the laces and feed the lace up through the first hole of the double hole wing.
Feed that same lace down through the second hole of the double hole wing.
Feed the laces into the remaining eyelets.

This screen displays the remaining life of your shoes before they no longer provide you with sufficient protection.
Upon initial use, the Shoe Life percentage will indicate 100% and will decrease with use.

This screen counts your steps just like a pedometer. Read More…
Automatically records your steps; you do not have to press any buttons.
Your steps will be stored until you reset.
To reset, depress and hold the Adjust button. While holding the Adjust button, depress and hold the Mode button. Reset will be indicated.

This screen records your mileage. Read More…
Mileage is automatically calculated based on the average number of steps taken per mile. To individualize, go to the steps/miles screen.
Your mileage will be stored until you reset.
To reset, depress and hold the Adjust button. While holding the Adjust button, depress and hold the Mode button. Reset will be indicated.
- 4. Stride Rate
This screen displays the average number of strides taken per minute during use. Read More…
Automatically calculates stride rate during activity.
Disregards short periods of non-use, such as waiting for a stop light.
Stored until reset.
Resets automatically – After 2 minutes of non-use, the shoe odometer enters sleep mode. Upon next use, the shoe odometer will automatically clear the stride rate from previous use and begins calculating current stride rate.
Resets manually – depress and hold the Adjust button. While holding the Adjust button, depress and hold the Mode button. Reset will be indicated.

This screen displays the total number of steps taken in your current pair of shoes. Read More…
Caution: Only reset this screen when transferring the Shoe Odometer to a new pair of shoes.
Automatically records each step taken in your current pair of shoes.
To reset, depress and hold the Adjust button. While holding the Adjust button, depress and hold the Mode button. Display will flash Reset Tot 4, Reset Tot 3, Reset Tot 2, Reset Tot 1, 0.
Note:
The reset may be stopped by releasing either the adjust button or the mode button prior to the final indicator “0”. - 6. My SO #
This screen displays your individual shoe odometer number. Read More…
This number will be used to determine the remaining life of your shoes. The Shoe Odometer is programmed with a default setting of 600,000 steps.
Use the Calculator link to determine your individual Shoe Odometer number.
To enter your individual Shoe Odometer number, depress the Adjust button on the “My SO #” screen.
*Each time you depress the Adjust button, the number will advance by 1,000.
*To advance at a faster rate, depress and hold the Adjust button.
*If you advance past your individual number, continue holding to repeat the cycle. - 7. Travel
The travel mode puts the Shoe Odometer into a very deep sleep. Use this mode if you are traveling or if you won't be using the Shoe Odometer for an extended period of time. Read More…
*To activate the Travel mode, depress and hold the Adjust button. While holding the Adjust button, depress and hold the Mode button. Display will flash Travel 4, Travel 3, Travel 2, and Travel 1.

This screen displays the user’s average steps per mile which will then be used to calculate mileage. Read More…
The Shoe Odometer is programmed with a default ‘steps per mile’ number of 1,350.
To individualize, use the Shoe Odometer to determine the number of steps you take in a measured mile. The ‘Steps’ screen will display the number of steps you took covering that distance. Enter this number using the following:
Press the Adjust button
*Each time you depress the Adjust button, the number will advance by 10.
*To advance at a faster rate, depress and hold the Adjust button.
*If you advance past your individual number, continue holding to repeat the cycle.
